Systema training - all levels

Systema training - all levels

Systema is a martial art and holistic physical practice that emphasizes free and natural movement, breathing and relaxation, and applies these to everyday life, to practice self-preservation (falling safely, avoiding accidental injury) and self-defense skills.

Kind of like a russian combat Tai Chi or dance practice!

It can also be a great complement to other physical activities and disciplines, by helping develop mobility/range of motion, good posture and body awareness, and fine motor control; all through gentle, non-destructive exercises that emphasize long-term health and avoiding injury.

Exercises are adaptable to most bodies and skill levels, and we emphasize peer learning and experimentation, as well as learning through play.

Trainings are Pay What You Can (no-one will be turned away for lack of funds) to help cover the costs of renting/using the training spaces and equipment.

Come join us at our weekly trainings on Wednesday evenings at 7pm and on Sunday mornings at 10am!
